The Stellar M22\u2122 Photofractional\u2122 treatment works with your skin to stimulate deep collagen regeneration over a sequence of treatments. The result is a visible smoothening of the affected stretch mark area and an improvement in the discoloration. Usually, after the first session, you will begin to notice improvement. Typically, 3-5 sessions in 2-6 weeks intervals are needed to obtain optimal results. However, you will continue to see improvements for up to six months following the treatment.<\/p>\n

What can I expect after treatment?<\/h3>\n

Immediately following treatment, you may experience some redness or swelling, depending on your customized treatment settings. The swelling will diminish after a few hours and the redness as quickly as the next day or over the next few days. Most patients are able to resume their daily activities the very same day. The Stellar M22\u2122 Photofractional\u2122 treatment is a highly effective method for improving the appearance of stretch marks on different areas of your body. Our unique technology combines two solutions, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and ResurFX\u2122 non-ablative skin resurfacing, so that both skin tone and texture can be treated sequentially.<\/p>\n

Is It right for me?<\/h3>\n

Stellar M22\u2122 treatments are not suitable for everyone and may carry some risks. Photofractional\u2122 is not suitable when you have active infections, viral, fungal, or bacterial diseases, inflammatory skin conditions, or skin cancer. Risks may include redness, swelling, change of pigmentation, and scarring. How does it work?<\/h2>\n

Photofractional\u2122 technology<\/h3>\n

By combining both IPL and ResurFX\u2122 technologies in the same treatment session, both skin pigmentation and texture can be treated at the same time. Stellar M22\u2122 IPL technology removes unwanted pigment from the skin, while the ResurFX\u2122 fractional laser stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin fibers in the deeper layers of the skin. Stimulating new collagen production is the key to smoother, tighter-looking skin.<\/p>\n

The treatment<\/h3>\n

To ensure utmost comfort, your physician should typically apply a topical numbing cream before treatment and\/or use air cooling during treatment. Depending on the area being treated, you can expect the session to last 15-30 minutes.
