Kybella treatment uses a specialized chemical that can break down fat cells, leading to a cleaner and more defined chin profile. The fat under the chin can accumulate due to many reasons such as genetics or aging. By using the main ingredient which is called Deoxycholic Acid. It begins its work by breaking down the fat cell’s membrane and reducing the thickness of fat under the chin’s skin.
Kybella treatment takes little as 20 minutes to complete and the recovery time will depend on how much fat is removed. Before the treatment began a nurse will administer a numbing agent or an ice pack on your chin to help with any discomfort. Then a specialist will inject your skin with a series of injections containing Deoxycholic Acid, which is FDA approved and is naturally formed inside your liver. Once inside of your skin, the acid will begin to destroy and dissolve the fat cell, so that I can’t store fat there anymore.
Depending on your fat content, you may require more than one Kybella treatment to achieve the aesthetic results you desire. You can receive up to 6 treatments with at least a month in between each session.

You can tell us what you are trying to achieve from your treatment and your aesthetic desire. In return, we will learn more about you and you will be advised not to have the Kybella treatment if you have the following problems; If you had any or are planning to have facial treatments if you are pronto extreme swallowing, are pregnant, or nursing, or have any sort of skin infection or condition near the targeted area.
Although Kybella is a non-surgical treatment, the side effect does include slight pain, swelling, redness, numbness, and bruising. While the recovery time can vary from person to person, the most side effect will disappear within 1 or 2 weeks of the treatment. Kindly note that there can be serious side effects of the treatment can include weakness in facial muscles, improper smile, trouble swallowing, or even a nerve injury. If you feel any discomfort for more than 2 days time period, you are advised to contact your healthcare provider or personal doctor immediately.
