WHAT IS Restylane® ?

Restylane is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically formulated to act like your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid, helping to visibly correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, including the lines that run from your nose toward the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds) and the lines that run from the corners of your mouth toward the chin (marionette lines).

Additionally, Restylane and Restylane® Silk are FDA-approved for lip enhancement in patients over the age of 21 and are uniquely formulated to give your lips fullness and definition.

WHERE CAN Restylane BE USED?

Smile Lines — Treat the area that extends from the nose to the corners of the mouth.

Corners of the Mouth — Treat the area next to the crease of the lips.

Marionette Lines — Treat the area that extends downward from the corners of the mouth to the jawline.

Lips — Restylane can enhance both the upper and lower lips in patients over 21 years.

WHAT IS Restylane® Lyft?

Over time, natural fat begins to deteriorate, resulting in sagging skin, more prominent wrinkles and a reduction of volume. Restylane Lyft, formerly known as Perlane-L®, is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel used to correct volume loss and treat wrinkles in the face and hands.

Through nonsurgical injections, Restylane Lyft is specifically designed to add fullness to the cheeks, midface area, and the back of the hands to help complete your aesthetic look — for face and hands.

WHAT IS Restylane® Silk?

The lips and the lines around the mouth, like other areas of the face, show signs of aging as you get older. This often results in lip thinning, lost shape and an increase in vertical lines above the lip.

Restylane Silk is designed specifically to provide natural-looking results in these particular areas by using smaller, smoother hyaluronic acid particles than those used in other Restylane® products.

WHAT IS Restylane® Refyne?

As skin loses elasticity with age, the lines that run from the sides of your nose toward the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds) and the lines that run from the corners of your mouth toward the chin (marionette lines) appear more noticeable.

As we age, our skin loses elasticity. This causes the lines that run along the side of the face and mouth (nasolabial folds and marionette lines) to become more pronounced as well as the chin to recede so far back toward the neck that it creates an imbalance of facial features (chin retrusion).

Restylane Defyne is crafted with XpresHAn Technology™ to correct these deepened lines and wrinkles and improve chin projection by correcting mild-to-moderate chin retrusion. What is Restylane®?

It’s a name of a brand of hyaluronic acid–based facial fillers. Restylane® enhances your skin’s resilience and young features, as well as its ability to treat the effects of gravity, time, and weather. Restylane® is a natural and safe cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin in order to treat face creases and folds. It is formed of hyaluronic acid, a natural chemical found in the human body. Restylane® products include the following formulations with subtle differences. Each formulation allows it to achieve different goals.

Restylane® and Restylane-L® are for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Restylane® and Restylane-L® are also indicated for injection into the lips.

Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is for deep implantation into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds and for cheek augmentation and for the correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies. Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine is also indicated for injection into the dorsal hand to correct volume loss.

Restylane® Silk is for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral wrinkles.

Restylane® Kysse is for lip augmentation and for correction of upper perioral wrinkles.

Restylane® Refyne is for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.

Restylane® Defyne is for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe deep facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Restylane® Defyne is also indicated for injection into the mid-to-deep dermis (subcutaneous and/or supraperiosteal) for augmentation of the chin region to improve the chin profile in patients with mild to moderate chin retrusion.

Restylane® Contour is for cheek augmentation and for the correction of midface contour deficiencies.

How it works

If the patient prefers, we can numb the region with ice or a topical anesthetic before the procedure. If the patient desires a topical anesthetic, please notify the office before coming in for treatment. The filler may be combined with lidocaine in some circumstances to improve patient comfort during treatment and recovery.

Personal Consultation

We address a few areas of consultations by examining the physicality of the patient and completing a new patient intake interview. The purpose of the interview is to assess your ideal appearance and whether you have had any previous cosmetic treatments. In return, we will learn more about you and our medical professionals will look into your medical history to make sure there are no complications with our treatment procedure.

We believe in addressing the patient rather than the issue. As a result, we’ll endeavor to get a feel of who you are and your desired aesthetic. Furthermore, our consultant will help you analyze what Restylane really is and how it will draw your natural beauty out.
