In recent years eyebrows have become the hottest beauty trend in the world. Eyebrows are one of the most important parts of your facial beauty regime and good or bad brows can transform the look you have. Not only does applying a brow line frame the face it also draws attention to your eyes and consequently restore confidence in your appearance.

3D Microblading Brows (Hairstrokes) is creating 3D hair like strokes using microfine needles. This method is suitable for candidates who have plenty of existing hair to blend with the created strokes. Great for those who have darker hair and want more volume. For those who have light and fine hair, it’s not recommended as the strokes will heal to be a bit thicker and may not blend naturally. Plus, there is no ombré option for this technique.

A 3D Microblading Brows (Hairstrokes) treatment is a three–part process usually completed within two appointments. The price you are quoted will include all three stages.

THE CONSULTATION

The first part of the process is a consultation. This is normally done as part of your initial treatment, but can be done separately if you prefer. Our team will talk with you in great detail about the look you are trying to achieve and what we might recommend to you. This is very much a two-way conversation. We listen, we respond, we advise. Once we have an idea of the look you are aiming for, we draw the brows on with a makeup pencil. This can be drawn on and adjusted many times if necessary! We will never begin the tattoo process until you are completely happy with what it is going to look like.

THE TREATMENT

Using a state of the art microblading tool, tiny precision hair strokes are created by hand, mimicking the natural direction and lengths of your brows. Pigments are then implanted into the channels created by the microblades in the dermal layer of the skin. The sensation is similar to a little scratch but you should not feel any discomfort. As with the permanent makeup treatment the area will look 20-30% darker than the color you have chosen in consultation, but this will fade within 3-4 days to reveal your chosen color. The treatment generally takes around 1-2 hours and will leave you with highly defined, ultra-realistic looking brows.

THE RETOUCH

A second appointment is needed 2 months after your first treatment. This is usually a 15-60 minutes appointment to add more pigment to the brow area. This is because as the area is healing, some parts may not ‘hold’ as well as others and you may have a few patches that need more color. This is completely normal and everyone heals differently. Whatever the case, we advise you always come back to our Spa for your retouch.

What are 3D Microblading Brows?

3D Microblading brow treatment is an advanced technique that helps regain the appearance of fuller and defined eyebrows. This treatment utilizes a hand-held microblade tool to create a semi-permanent tattoo. Unlike traditional tattoos, which forcefully insert ink into the skin for sharper shape and longer-lasting pigmentation, on the other hand, micro-blading enhances your eyebrows rather than replacing them. This is accomplished by placing several very fine and punctilious lines across the eyebrows.

Although Microblading is alright for almost everyone. However, it is not advised for people who are pregnant, nursing, or suffering from diabetes or epileptic.

What is the procedure?

Microblading treatment takes around 2 hours to complete, as the treatment requires proper placement of varying lengths of lines to enhance the eyebrows to seem fuller and denser. Before the treatment Microblading starts, the specialist will apply a numbing agent on your brows to help with any discomfort you may feel during the procedure. Then the specialist will administer a semi-permanent pigmentation according to your eyebrow color or preference, through a hand-held tool that utilizes disposable micro blades.

Consultation is a complimentary part of our treatment and is always advised for all of our patients, in which you have meetings with our specialist to discuss your preferences and the treatment itself. You can tell us what you are trying to achieve from your treatment and your choice of aesthetic. In return, we will learn more about you and our specialist will look into your medical history to make sure there are no complications with our treatment procedure.

How will it take to recover from the treatment?

nce you are done with your treatment, you will be advised not to agitate your eyebrows with any strenuous activities like swimming, tanning, or long-term exposure to the sun. Also not apply any sort of cosmetic or conditioner on your eyebrows. After your first treatment, follow-up treatments will be required after 4 – 6 weeks.
