An Eyeliner + Eyelash Enhancement Upper combo treatment is a three–part process usually completed within two appointments. The price you are quoted will include all three stages.

THE CONSULTATION

The first part of the process is a consultation. This is normally done as part of your initial treatment, but can be done separately if you prefer. Our team will talk with you in great detail about the look you are trying to achieve and what we might recommend to you. This is very much a two-way conversation. We listen, we respond, we advise. Once we have an idea of the look you are aiming for, we draw the eyeliner and Eyelash on with a makeup pencil. This can be drawn on and adjusted many times if necessary! We will never begin the tattoo process until you are completely happy with what it is going to look like.

THE TREATMENT

Using a specialist facial tattooing machine, which works at a much lower frequency than a standard tattoo machine, we gently apply pigment to the eye area using very fine needles. The sensation is that of an electric toothbrush being held against your skin – you feel the vibrations but you should not feel any discomfort. We will always work with you at this stage, giving you breaks if you need them. The process normally takes about 90 minutes, but it varies from person to person depending on your individual requirements. After the Eyeliner + Eyelash Enhancement Upper Combo treatment, your eyes might be a bit puffy and sensitive. We advise you do not drive a vehicle immediately after an eye treatment.

THE RETOUCH

A second appointment is needed 2 months after your first treatment. This is usually a 30-60 minute appointment to add more pigment to the eye area. This is because as the area is healing, some parts may not ‘hold’ as well as others and you may have a few patches that need more color. This is completely normal and everyone heals differently. Whatever the case, we advise you always come back to our Spa for your retouch.

Consultation

Consultation is a complimentary part of our treatment and is always advised for all of our patients, in which you have meetings with our specialist to discuss your preferences and the treatment itself. You can tell us what you are trying to achieve from your treatment and your choice of aesthetic. Here is what you need to know before you decide on the treatment; Do not take the following medication two days before and after the treatment, Aspirin or Ibuprofen, it is also advised not to discontinue any medication without consulting your doctor. Do not consume any alcohol the night before your session.

What is the procedure?

During your eyelash enhancer treatment, the slower lash will be covered with wet cotton, and then adhesive will be applied to the eyelids. A gel rolled is then used to stick your eyelashes upward onto the rob. Depending on your aesthetic you can choose from different types of rollers, which can lead to many different curls patterns. A cream formula is applied to prem the eyelashes and once desired effect is achieved, another solution is applied which stops the perming and allows the roller to be taken off.

After you are done with eyelash enhancer treatment, we can start with permanent eyeliner treatment. This depends on your preference on whether you chose thick or thin eyeliner, which will be applied to your upper and lower eyelash.

Recovery/After Care

Immediately following the operation, your eyelids will be somewhat red, puffy, and painful. This will subside in a few days. Your eyeliner will appear darker and thicker than you desire at first, but as it heals, it will lighten and soften. Please keep this in mind when scheduling your operation since you will not be able to wear mascara or eye makeup during the first week of recovery and will be administering ointments.
